Steve and Connie Ballmer Statement on the Los Angeles Wildfires
We love L.A. and are committed to supporting the communities affected by the devastating wildfires. In coordination with our local partners, Ballmer Group will contribute to addressing immediate food and shelter needs in the community and supporting our first responders.
We’ve dedicated an initial $15 million in emergency funding for the many people impacted by these fires, particularly in the historic, racially diverse community of Altadena. The list of the organizations and efforts for which we’re providing immediate support is below.
We are also honored to host FireAid at the Intuit Dome in partnership with the Azoff Family, Live Nation, and AEG Presents. Airing live on 1/30, FireAid is an evening of music and solidarity dedicated to rebuilding communities devastated by wildfires and supporting efforts to prevent future fire disasters throughout Southern California. We understand that there will be a long road to recovery for the L.A. region and remain committed to supporting the community.
